Hi! Welcome to the latest BoardnLodge newsletter. We are gearing up for what is looking like an overdue bumper snow season. We received the following email couple of days ago from one of our staff in Chamonix: 'Thought that I'd let all the BoardnLodge massive know that I rode about a foot of fresh snow from the top of the Tete de Balme today and we are going to build a kicker on the Vormaine tomorrow…in the middle of October, go on the Chamonix! The old dudes are feeling their berries and saying that it ain't going to stop snowing all the way through, we shall see...' I don't know about you but that's the sort of thing that certainly gets me feeling my berries. ;-)

Friday 1st November sees Britain's highest (indoor) peak Milton Keynes hosting one mother of a party. There will be several big manufacturers offering testing opportunities on the real snow slope. ADDICT Quicksilver and several other well-known labels are sponsoring the night. There will be a car-jump of course and a huge rail. There will be loads of DJ's and prize's for best tricks as well as the customary freebies you'd expect when a load of the big brands come to town. It's going to be a mad one... For those of you planning to come out to stay in one of our chalets in Chamonix this winter we advise you to get a move on. February and early March are all but full up and while there is still a fair amount of availability in January, with great rates and the early snow we anticipate this filling up fast. Open for business again this winter, seasoner Mick Wood, and girlfriend Ashley have now bought the bar making a little corner of Argentiére a home for the British rider.
