Board-X Festival BoardX (Battersea Park, S.London, Fri - Sun 9-11 November 2001) is the biggest snowboard event in the UK. It features the London 'Big Air' comp a major part of the European Pro Tour with a 100 ft real snow kicker. With top British pros, Olympian and European stars such as Gian Simmen and Xavier Hoffman out to win it will be an event not to be missed.

Pre Season Party Board & Lodge invite you to their Pre-Season Party on Saturday 10 November 2001. It will be held at favourite venue the Norfolk Village, 210 Shoreditch High Street, NE.London. Our very own DJs Delicious, Miche and Dr Legg, will be topping the bill. It's only £5 and the bar serves till 6am (if you're still standing). It gonna be stomping - see you there!

Mt Blanc Forest Lodge New this season the Mt Blanc Forest Lodge is nestled in the Taconnaz forest at the foothills of the North Face of Mont Blanc. On the outskirts of town, Chamonix's shops and funky bars are all within easy reach. The chalet can sleep up to 20 people, so it is perfect for groups and individuals alike and a great place to come with mates or make new friends. Run by Delicious Dave, and his girlfriend B, we know you'll have a great time in the awe of the Mother of all Mountains.

Boardwise holidays This winter we have teamed up with Boardwise to offer two weeks of unique holidays. Our Boardwise holidays are taking place during the weeks commencing Jan 12th and Mar 30th.Guests booking Boardwise holidays will be based in our self-catered apartments in Argentiere, 100m from the bottom of Les Grandes Montets, and will be able to choose between free lessons, guiding or riding with a pro. Boardwise, the UK largest snowboard equipment and clothing retailers will have lots of kit available for you to try while you are out.

Chamjam holidays Chamjam is a combination of music festival and skiing/boarding competition that, with Radio 1 and MTV coverage, has become the biggest in Europe. Chamjam takes place over 4 days during the week March 2nd - March 9th. Guests booking during Chamjam week will be based in our self-catered apartments, which are 100m from the bottom of Les Grandes Montets, the mountain hosting the event. You'll be right at the heart of the action, including the competitions, live performances, and parties on the mountain.

High Mountain Lodge We still have a few places left at our flagship chalet at the top of the Chamonix Valley based under Le Tour Glacier but they're going fast. Looked after by incredible chef and chalet manager, Big Vaughan, everyone always has a great time. Board to the door, breakfast, lunch, dinner with wine, ski following and en-suite bathrooms are just a few of the perks for our visitors.

Ride Snowboards Board & Lodge Chamonix have linked up with Ride Snowboards this winter. We've stocked up with 25 set-ups for our guests to rent and trial. The boards, boots and bindings from across this seasons range look pretty impressive, can't wait to try them out!

Win a holiday with B&L B&L have teamed up with Boardwise to offer two top weeks of snowboard holidays this winter. What's more, they are offering two holidays, worth £295 each, to boarders visiting their site. The two weeks of B&L/Boardwise holidays are the weeks commencing Saturday January 12th, and Saturday April 6th and include a 6 day All valley liftpass, 7 nights self-catered accommodation, guiding by experienced B&L/Boardwise staff, and two free half-days riding with either teacher, pro-rider, or guide. B&L forum New to the Board & Lodge website is a forum for the snowboard community. Already being used by loads of boarders and skiers, it's a great place to meet, and post messages. All you have to do is register on the site, and you can leave messages, stories or advertisements. Check it out.

Interactive map of chamonix As an addition to the range of information on Chamonix available on the site we have a new interactive map of the Chamonix valley. The map shows all the rideable areas, on, and off-piste, the lifts and the natural terrain around, as well as Chamonix town, and Board & Lodge favourite hangouts.
