<< Snow.... Loads... Chamonix! You may have heard about the amount of snow that has fallen over the last two weeks in Chamonix. It took a good team of us all day to dig the chalet out, but then the sun came out and there have been freshies to be had ever since. It’s been snowing almost daily for the last week and the resort is in great nick so come and get amongst it! |

Austria, especially our Saalbach ‘snow-hole’, is renowned for its consistently good conditions ….and unsurprisingly enough the resort (having been closed for a day due to an avalanche blocking the road!) is in top shape again…piste conditions are excellent, and off-piste is powder. Boardnlodge Team Austria are stoked with the 30 days of powder snow so far this season. |

There are however still spaces available at chalet Mikaelalodge next week and in March. You need to get to Salzburg or Munich, and we can transport you from there. The accommodation is at the foot of a tree lined blue run, the food is excellent with a menu featuring local, British and other classics from around the world (India, Thailand and Mexico to be specific). Boardnlodge wenzdayz at the officebar... Not happy with just a seasonal party, Boardnlodge staff and guests have demanded a weekly event. We talked to Matt and Crystal from The Office Bar in Argentiere, and they were well up for it. Rongan and his boys start the entertainment with a live band at 4 pm as soon as you are off the mountain, then there is a hearty dinner with Rumble and James; pints are 2.50€, and Steve starts the Bnl pool comp at 7.30, with champagne being given out as prizes. |

Austria... Dave and Michelle will be open for business this summer offering catered and self-catered stays at MikaelaLodge. After a massive winter we are now taking bookings for summer. Part of the European Tour, mountain biking is central to Lodge activities, but there is also paragliding, climbing, rafting, trekking and sunbathing. There is even the summer glacier 30 minutes away if you haven’t done enough riding. |

Carribean... Come and soak up the Carribean sunlove at Jakes place on Treasure Beach with Sal and Jason. There are loads of activities to do at Jakes, but most of us just like to chill on the beach, relax by the pool, or drink at Jakes cocktail bar. The accommodation is made up of beautiful huts over-looking the ocean. Huts can accommodate singles, couples of groups. What a set up! |
