Stevo – Stevo – Stevo! Yes, after last seasons outrageous home town decision went against him, victory was so much sweeter for Boardnlodge resort manager Steve in the second annual Ambrose Burnside Memorial Cup at Posh Johns Rusticana in Argentiere.
Despite some fantastically creative efforts from the rest of the field there was only ever going to be one winner this year. Seven months growth and a dedicated team of grooming staff produced the glorious spectacle you see here.
Steve says he's not going to enter next year so put those razors away lads – you're in with a chance!
All about the snow...
You may have heard about the incredible amount of snow that fell last month in Chamonix . We had three weeks of freshies and we have now got a great base of snow for the rest of the season. Not that a little more of the good stuff wouldn't be nice so it's good to see the clouds rolling in after a week of beautiful clear skies and perfect conditions.

extended stay
If a week just isn't long enough for you then it's ok because we still have a few seasonal/long stay accommodations available in Argentiere bang next to the lifts at the Grandes Montets. There are three places available in one of our duplex apartments there. Currently the apartment contains but one very pretty, fully house trained girl named Katherine. She is out for the rest of the season and she needs some friends so come on boys and girls treat yourself to that month in the mountains you've been promising yourself. You are guaranteed a great time and you'll improve your riding no end.

All about other stuff...
brand spanking new snowpark...
Now everyone knows that Chamonix has got some of the best freeriding terrain in the world but, perhaps because of this, one thing it has not always managed to offer is a decent boardpark. We'll that's all history as we now have a professionally built, well maintained park at Les Bossons. Spitting distance from our Mt Blanc Forest Lodge the park has a load of jumps and rails many of which are designed with the less experienced park rider in mind. What is more the park is open until 10.00 at night and has a bar – how good is that!

www.bikenlodge.com
This summer, also based out of our apartments in Argentiere, we are launching Bikenlodge.com. Chamonix is great in the summer with hot sunshine most days, beautiful scenery and a huge range of sports and activities from whiteknuckle downhill mountain biking to just sunning yourself beneath the snow capped peaks beside warm and crystal clear Lac Passy (yes we did spell that right).
