Cerkno Ski and Snowboard Resort

Peaking out at 1401m Cerkno is one of the most modern Slovenian Ski resorts, and is one of the Slovenian ski resorts we visit on the Boardnlodge Tour of Slovenia. This resort, on the frontier of Primorska and Notranjska Kraska in the Gorenjska region, is found on the slopes of the mount Črni Vrh, know to our guests as the Black Peak.

The ski resort has 70 hectares and extends from 900metres to 1400metres. The season is from from December until April. There is an system of artificial snowing that covers 100% of the resort, just in case it doesn't snow in Slovenia; unlikely!
