Maribor is Slovenia's second city, and is a great place to get a real feel of the country. Restaurants are great value: try a 1kg t-bone for €20. There are cool bars everywhere, and you can pretty much do most of them in one night if you are on a mission. The party scene goes off with dancing until late.
