A must for every visitor to Chamonix, this is the home of the hardcore. An unbelievable glacial valley 25km long dominated by rock, ice, and light. It is possible to ride numerous routes down the Valley Blanche from the Aiguille du midi (the midday needle), and you are advised to take a Boardnlodge High Mountain Guide, as there are no marked trails.

Even if you dont take your board with you the Aiguille du Midi - the most famous cable car in the world will take you on a two-stage, vertiginous aerial journey to the Aiguille du Midi (3842m). From this high mountain site there is a 360° panorama taking in Mont Blanc and much of the Massif. The Valley Blanche is a descent not to be missed. By catching both lifts to the Aiguille you can board the 24k descent down the Mer de Glace and through some of the most breathtaking mountainous scenery. It is skiable from February to May and is only recommended for good snowboarders who are accompanied by our guide Manu, Bruno or another High Mountain Guide.
